Seizing opportunities for successful market entry

In 2016, Ningbo Sanxing Smart Electric Co., Ltd. entered the Nigerian market for the first time, and cooperated on the electricity meter project with Mojec, which the largest local metering factory in Nigeria. It’s filling the gap in the Nigerian market for Sanxing.

According to market conditions and customer requirements,Sanxing quickly set up a R&D and sales team which develops products to match with customer demands with Sanxing's excellent metering technology and rich project experience, and then entered the Nigerian market successfully.

In the eight years of cooperation with Mojec, we have been successfully delivered more than one million products with the great efforts of Sanxing’s excellent delivery team. And these products have been supplied to eight power utilities. Meanwhile, four of them have been implanted our AMI system, which make us become the largest supplier of electricity meter in Nigeria.

Working together to lead in the market position

In 2023, Nigeria ushered in the WB international bidding project, which has been the largest turnkey project in African in recent years. Nearly 50 meter manufacturers from all over the world participated in the bidding of the project. Fierce though the competition was, we won the bidding of 4 lots. For the reason of 7 months' hard struggle of Sanxing team in Nigeria, we entered the qualification and technical evaluation process with a huge price advantage.

In August 2024, the project was officially launched when we signed the contracts with TCN. As the largest supplier of this project, Sanxing, relying on more than 30 years of professional technology and project experience, together with local installation companies, will be committed to providing the best quality and service in every link so that we can meet customer demands and improve customer satisfaction to the greatest extent, and then make it a star project in Africa.
